Little Neath River Cave: James Perry, Julien Jean, Kai Vice

Genuinely such a good cave, and it's tragic that we didn't get any photos. Genuinely the most phenomenal enterance series to a cave — half a river just flowing into a hole. Perry pointing at a 30 centimeter gap of air, and soaking everything in an instant (though it was already wet from doing my first ever duck in White Lady...). After the initial shock of being in an ACTUAL RIVER wore off, the first marked label on the map approaches: waterfall. Now, in most caves, this isn't a particular issue, as the waterfall is usually off to the side, a nice feature to enjoy. Not this cave.

Going down the waterfall isn't just terrifying. I think I actually pissed myself going down it. Absoloutely no visuals on how deep the water is, and a torrent of water slowly sliding the tenuous hold I had on the walls forward, until I was basically doing an iron cross. I'm not a gymnast, so of course I fell, thankfully less than a metre.
